O.K. guys and gals, I need some help.
I need some romantic gift ideas, little romantic things to do, and you can throw in some suggestions for music to "lurve" by. I used to be quite romantic but that, unfortunately, was 25 years ago, and I'm a little rusty.
For all of you who are in a long term relationship, these are the things you did in the first few months when you were trying to convince your other half you were a good catch.
I will be rating your suggestions based on who you are, how your relationship is, and what I know about you through your blogs. To give you an idea, I'll take most of you at your word. Graybos suggestions will have some credibility as he won the hand of the fair Hels and therefore must know a thing or two, even if it's hypnotism and subliminal messages. Scaryduck on the other hand, nothing he suggests will be taken in the least bit seriously otherwise I can see myself trying to woo M to a soundtrack of Agadoo whilst proffering presents of pickled onions and mooning garden gnomes!

I see in the papers another man was attacked by a gang of youths whilst just defending his right to breathe. This is, I think, the 5th high profile attack in 11 days.
Let us not be downhearted however, because on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. the full power of Her Majestys Constabulary were positioned on the A4 with speed radar guns making sure that motorists, when confronted with a three lane major trunk road that was empty, and with good driving conditions, didn't exceed the 40mph speed limit.
We can all sleep easy in our beds.

Well done to the three intrepid Britons who set the new highest altitude for a dinner party, 24,5000 feet. They sat in a baloon in evening dress and had a full meal including, I understand, brandy and cigars.
And that's why, no matter how much we are pushed or pulled into being a United States of Europe we can never fully integrate. Which other European country has the style to carry out such a venture. I hope we never lose that sense of Britishness. Other nationalities may mock and sneer but it is only through jealously.

The scarcest commodity in my life at the moment is time. Every minute seems to be filled with something. All good things.
Work continues to flood in, to the point where we are going to have to look at taking on a rep imminently as we can only just cope with the work we have and we are about to go live into three new Yellow Pages. We have already re-employed Karen as our book-keeper on a part-time basis because I just don't have the time to deal with them. This is the first time I've spent more than 15 minutes in the office this week, yet I need to spend a highish proportion of my weekhere just to keep on top of the admin. Tempus would appear to be fugiting at a much too fast a rate
As for Marj, well, there's hardly a day goes by that we don't see each other. Quite a difficult task when our home lives don't make that as simple as we'd like. We've even managed one night away with another the week after next and a whole 4 nights away in August. We're heading for the coast for a few days of sun, sea, sand and someting else beginning with "s". I haven't had time to book a hotel yet but I need to get a move on. There won't be many left for Cornwall in August with a good coastal view at a reasonable price. Any recommendations would be welcone.
Blogging is now a luxury that seems ever more distant. The number of posts I make have dwindled virtually to a standstill, and as for reading other peoples. Not had the chance for the last week. Lord knows what you're all up to and I'm missing out. After three years of doing this I feel as though I'm neglecting friends.
No this isn't the preamble to say I'm giving up the blog. Posts will be a bit sparse for a bit longer but I couldn't give up completely. This online life is a part of me now that I would no sooner give up than any other.
